Itinerary

Day 1: The Pelling Fringe (Naku & Singyang)

Arrive in Pelling. Drive to the nearby Naku Chumbong and Singyang Sindrang villages. These are model villages known for their cleanliness and traditional architecture. Enjoy a welcome drink of local millet beer (Chi) at a village home.

Day 2: The Limbu Heartland (Darap & Nambu)

Move to Darap Village, a pioneer in eco-tourism. Walk through the cardamom fields and ancient Limbu traditional houses. Later, visit Nambu Village to see majestic waterfalls and traditional farming techniques.

Day 3: The Valley of Rice & Cheese

Drive to Dentam Bazaar, famous for its scenic terrace rice fields and the Alpine Cheese Factory (Gouda cheese). Continue to the border village of Uttarey and visit Tathang Village to see the Tenzing Norgay statue.

Day 4: The Lepcha Reserve (Lethang & Khecheopalri)

Enter the sacred Khecheopalri region. Hike down to the secluded Lethang Village, a protected reserve for the indigenous Lepcha tribe. See their unique bamboo craftsmanship. End the day at historic Yuksom Village.

Day 5: The Commercial Hub

Drive back via Sakyong. Stop at Gayzing Bazaar to shop for local organic produce, handicrafts, and souvenirs before departure.
